Description
The Gotham 11051 GAC-4/1 Road Star-Quad microphone cable is similar to the Gotham 11001 but reinforced with an outer jacket layer made of ultra-strong PUR material. Together with the 100% Oxygen Free Copper, Double Reussen shield, the Gotham 11051 uses an Aluminium coated Polyester “conductive fibre” as used in the Ultra-Pro cables Gotham 11301 and Gotham 10561.
The Gotham 11051 GAC-4/1 Road Star-Quad cable is the most advanced microphone cables specifically designed for the rigours of touring, live performance and staging presently available. The Star-Quad concept is recommended where the RF-rejection is the most important and where very long cable runs are needed. Two conductors is used for each high and low signals, with a reduction of noise by 50% due to the common mode rejection of incoming RF-signals due to the way the 4 conductors are twisted. RF-rejection is over 130dB (25 kHz).
The choice of microphone cable can make or break a successful live performance so choosing a rugged cable that can withstand the punishment of touring and live performance has never been so important. The Gotham 11051 is designed to survive the abuse often experienced by microphone cables while touring. A number of international touring and staging companies insist on using the Gotham PUR reinforced 11051 microphone cable simply because this is an excellent one-time investment.
