Perfect for distributing music throughout your home, or for a discreet home theatre experience, the Krix Ecliptix can be used as main fronts or side and rear surrounds.
A rectangular in wall version of the Krix Hemispherix in-ceiling speaker, the Ecliptix offers precise tonal matching when installed together with the Hemispherix. Designed for a 90mm wall cavity, its fully enclosed back box ensures acoustic integrity and prevents rear sound radiation from being transferred to adjoining rooms.
Bass and mid-range clarity are delivered through the 100mm bass driver, with a large magnet and aluminium shorting ring, while the 25mm dome tweeter directs high frequencies toward the listener. The slim bezel paintable grille is held in place by magnets for easy installation.
For the ultimate sound experience at home, play it through Krix.
The Ecliptix has a low and high frequency driver in the range of 65Hz – 20kHz in room response. Low driver uses a nominal 100mm (4″) doped paper cone and a 25mm (1″) voice coil wound on high temperature Kapton former. The high driver uses a 26mm (1″) fabric dome, adjustable “eyeball”. The speakers uses gold plated spring terminals with a 2-way configuration.
